...Kanye West Has A Problem

Ya know...Kanye West said he's running for president in 2020.  There's only one small problem.  He a college dropout.  Now before you say that shouldn't matter, let me say that it must.  You see, Scott Walker, the Republican Governor of Wisconsin, dropped out of college before he got his degree and a lot of Democrats think the fact that he didn't finish disqualifies him.  (Not that there is any requirement in the Constitution as we've had Presidents without degrees in the past.)  So Kanye,  you better run as a Republican!  Just so ya know...

...They are MY pennies!

Ya know...It's expensive to get a college education these days.  OK, It's always been a bit pricey, but at one point in time, a kid could work a couple of part time jobs during the school year and a full time job in the summer and still make enough to pay tuition and have enough left over for a beer or two.  Maybe with a scholarship or two thrown in the mix.  It might not have been Harvard, but a small public, liberal arts college was certainly doable.  Enter then, the era of the student loan.

Student loans and the ever increasing demand by everyone for your tax dollar killed the idea of a reasonably priced college education.  As student loans became easier to get, state legislatures eased more and more dollars away from funding the state colleges and universities to placate louder voices screaming for money.  The kids squealed a bit as tuition kept going up and up, but they just got another loan and pressed on with their schooling.

Now, to get a degree, the kids end up with enough debt that they are paying the loans off well into their 30s and 40s.  Some, even into their 50s. 

And because of this, it seems that the radical loonie left has come up with a plan.

1. Free Tuition
2. Excuse ALL loans
3  $15.00 minimum wage on all college campuses.

The people who are demanding this are essentially free loaders They claim that all we have to pay is just a few pennies more in taxes on our stock transactions.

To clear over a trillion dollars of student debt and give everyone a free ride is gonna cost more than a few pennies per stuck transaction.  More importantly, those are MY pennies and you don't deserve them!  I worked for them and I didn't work for them to give them away to some dope smoking idiot to study Marxist Philosophy

Here's an idea.  If you think we all  owe you a college education, why don't you get off of your ass and go door to door demanding that your neighbors pay for your education instead of demanding that the government do that for you.  I'd like to see how much is in your account at the end of the day.  

Black Lives Matter?

Ya know, it's really not about Black Lives at all.  It went from Black Lives Matter to now include Black transgender Lives.  This is about upending culture.  The people at the head of these so-called movements aren't interested in your life.  They aren't interested in real life.  It's all about destroying America.

They don't give a damn about Black children dying in the streets.  There is no "Black Children Lives Matter" banner.  It makes you wonder why.  When people like Dr. Ben Carson bring up these inconvenient truths, they are called "Uncle Toms", or "Race Traitors", worse.

Democrats have ruled our inner cities for decades.  Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Ferguson, and on and on.  Families are ignored.  Crime is rampant with some of the toughest gun control laws anywhere. Black Lives are being lost DAILY!

If Black Lives REALLY Mattered, our focus would be where we are really losing Black lives.  Ya know?

I'm Back!

Ya know...I've been away from the blogging scene for several years.  For another several years, I blogged as "The Violence Worker".  I never made the big time, but it was cathartic and I had a loyal following of at least 3 or 4.  I had a lot of fun with it, but I slowly got into different things for awhile.  I still am, but I've decided to enter the blog-o-sphere once again.  I will try to write several times a week.  We'll see.

So, that said, I will be entertaining you with my wit and wisdom concerning politics, the news and anything else I damned well please.  With the political season heating up, I will probably have lots to say.  I'll also post pictures from my photography hobby.

So feel free to comment and tell me how wrong I am.  Word of warning - I bite back.
